Set up your Star Micronics TSP650ii Receipt Printer for kiosk use (optional)

  1. Place the paper roll into the receipt printer by following the instructions provided. Paper must be inserted correctly for printing to work - if your kiosk passes are coming out blank, it is most likely because the paper is not inserted the right way.
  2. Plug the receipt printer power adapter into a power point and into the back of the printer.
  3. Open the Settings app on the iPad.
  4. Select Bluetooth.
  5. On the back of your printer, near the power cord, find and hold the PAIR button for 5-8 seconds. The small light will start flashing. You will have 60 seconds to pair your printer to your iPad.
  6. Locate the printer in the Bluetooth device list on the iPad - brand new printers often come up as Star Micronics but if you have a second hand one or your printer isn't new, it may come up with a different name.
  7. Click on the iPad home button.
  8. Click on the XUNO Kiosk icon to open the Kiosk app - your kiosk is now ready for use. You may wish to sign in as a visitor to test that the printer is working.
