Prepare reports in Accelerus Full - Semester 2

Add a new report run

  1. Create the Report Run:
  1. Go to Management > Process Reports.
  2. Click Add.
  3. Enter a unique Code for the report run, e.g. 2025Sem2.
  4. Enter a Name for the report run, e.g. Semester 2.
  5. Enter coverage dates for the report run, which determines which subjects may be added to it.
  6. Enter the result entry due date, if you want teachers to be reminded about the date by which they must finish entering data.
  7. If this is the report run teachers are currently working on, set its status to Current.
    NB   Usually only one will be marked as Current at any point in time.
  8. Save the report run.

Copy the report structure and templates from previous report run

You can copy the report structure from a previous report run into the current run if the formats are similar and the subject codes are substantially the same, e.g. the Semester 1 run could be copied to Semester 2 run.

  1. Copy/Rollover the structure of the report run:
  1. Go to Management > Rollover.
  2. Click on Report Runs.
  3. Select the From and To report runs.
  4. Make the appropriate changes to the Portions to copy (if required).
  5. Update the Match the subjects’ academic cycles (if required).
  6. Click Next.
  7. Read through the Preprocess messages and change the actions accordingly (if required).
  8. Click Next.
    • You may obtain a copy of previous templates by downloading them from a previous report run:
  9. Go to Management > Process Reports
  10. Click on the Non-current icon to view all previous report runs.
  11. Select the report run you want to download templates from.
  12. Click on the Templates icon.
  13. Highlight the templates you want to download and click download.
  14. Go to your Downloads folder and Extract the templates from the compressed file.
  15. Make any required changes to the templates to be uploaded.
    • Upload the templates to the current report run.
  16. Go to Management > Process Reports.
  17. Select the current report run and click on Templates.
  18. Click on Upload.
  19. Click on Browse.
  20. Navigate to where the templates you want to upload are.
  21. Select all the templates required and click Open.
  22. Click Upload.
    • Make any required updates/changes to the report run structure.
  23. Go to Management > Process Reports.
  24. Select the current report run and click on Structure.
  25. Make any changes to your report structure, e.g. add new slots, portions etc.
  26. Add any subjects that are missing.
  27. Attach existing templates to any newly-added subjects, where appropriate.
  28. Remove any subjects that you do not require in the report run.
  29. Refresh any templates where there have been changes in assessment items, e.g. additional items, changed codes, etc.
  30. Make appropriate changes to refreshed templates.
  31. Create any new templates and/or make any other changes to copied or new templates in Word.
  32. Save the report run.

Set up the report run from scratch

Where there are significant and fundamental differences between the reporting formats required in the current report run from those available in previous cycles, you should set up the report run from scratch. You should refer to the Student Report Production manual for full details on setting up report runs.
