XUNO's asset management feature allows schools to manage, track and assign assets to staff & students.

How to create an asset
- Click on the Administration menu and then click on Asset Management found under the General section.
- Click on the Add button.
- Fill out the "Asset Details" section which includes Asset No, Serial No, Make, Model, Resource Category and Type.
- Fill out the "Purchase Details" section which contains the Supplier and Cost of the asset.
- Select a Purchase Date and Warranty Expiry Date.
- Click the Save button to create your asset.
Note: You can add extra Asset types through the Options menu and Lists & Options. Choose Types from the list drop down, under the Asset Management group . Simply type in the item description in the Add a new item field and click on the Add button.
Viewing and editing assets
- Click on the Administration menu and then click on Asset Management.
- You can select filtering options by clicking on the filter icon. Select the appropriate filtering options you require and then click the Show button.
- To Edit select the Pencil icon.
- You can add or edit all of the Asset Details, Purchase Details & Maintenance Details.
- Delete select the X icon.
Assigning assets to users and rooms
- Click on the Administration menu and then click on Asset Management.
- Click the Pencil icon on the line of the asset you want to assign.
- In the "Assigned to" section, select from the drop down the group the asset is being assigned to - staff, student or room and then select the member of that group you are assigning the asset to.
- Click the Assign button to assign the asset.
Returning assets from users & rooms
- Click on the Administration menu and then click on Asset Management.
- Click the Pencil icon on the line of the asset you want to return.
- In the "Assigned to" section, click the Return button to return the asset.
- The asset will display a status of Returned and show the Date Returned.
