Add and manage LDAP groups and permissions

This article is for on premise schools managing LDAP groups.

Users using the LDAP-based authentication method have their permissions applied based on what LDAP security group they are a member of. Each user should only be a member of one LDAP security group which has been added to XUNO.

In view of this, you must decide which of your staff members will be placed into each of these groups, and what permissions will be applied to each group of staff. You can create as many groups as you require. Your technician will need to create each of these groups on the server and place staff members into each of these groups. You will then be able to assign permissions to each of these groups from within the XUNO interface.
