Once your Accelerus database has been set up for Semester 2, follow the instructions below to prepare your Semester reports.
Report Cover Page
The cover page must be uploaded each semester. You can download any previous semester cover page to upload for the current semester. If your school changes your cover page each semester ensure you review and upload the correct one.
- In the Management window, click the Process Reports tile and ensure Configuration is selected in the left panel
- Under the Download previous cover page, select the preferred cover page and then click Download. The cover page will automatically download to your Downloads folder or if prompted, select a folder of your choice
- Open the downloaded cover page in Microsoft Word and check, making any changes only if required, taking care not to change any of the Word fields in the document, eg student names, teacher names etc.
- Once you are ready to upload the downloaded cover page, click the Browse button under the Upload modified cover page heading
- Navigate to folder where you downloaded the cover page and select it to upload
- Click Refresh configuration to update the Report Run Configuration window and the cover page details
Report Run Details
Due date and countdown reminder for teachers
You can set a result entry completion date for reports. This will show teachers a countdown reminder to the due date for entering results.
- In the Management window, click the Process Reports tile and ensure Configuration is selected in the left panel
- Under the Tools heading in the right panel, select Set Report Run details
- In the Result entry due date field, select the date by which teachers should have completed entering their student results and comments for the semester
- Tick the box to notify teachers of this date. Enter the number of days, prior to this due date, that you wish the countdown to start appearing for the teachers
- Click Save and then Close
Collation Order
You may change the default order in which subjects and/or parts of the report print.
- In the Management window, click the Process Reports tile and ensure Collation Order is selected in the left panel
- Click on any section heading or individual slot within these and click the Move Up or Move Down icons
We recommend you process reports periodically between setup and when reports are due to be printed. Even with a thorough setup process it's important to check the areas being assessed are correct, proofread subject descriptions, check the cover page etc.
You can now advise teachers the reports are open for completion.
A note on Student Absence Data
The choice on how to enter days late, days absent, days early departure and/or school days this semester is made in the Quick Setup Features window, against the home group subjects. You may have chosen to add or import one or more of these options. If you have chosen to enter attendance data manually, ensure the class teacher has done so in the home group class before printing reports
