How to Change the ATSI Term in XUNO

This article explains how to change the ATSI term in XUNO to align with your school’s preferred terminology.

Different states and schools may use varying terminology when referring to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) students. XUNO allows schools to customise this term to align with their preferred language or state requirements. Updating this setting ensures the selected terminology is consistently displayed across the platform, including student reports.

Steps to Change the ATSI Term

  1. Go to Options in the main menu.

  2. Select General Settings.

  3. Change the name in the field, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Mapping.

  4. Update the term based on your school’s preferred wording.

  5. Save your changes.

Once updated, the new terminology will be reflected throughout the system, including all student reports in XUNO.
