How do I connect Xuno and Accelerus?

Xuno and Accelerus, although separate databases, can be linked so that schools can import data from Xuno to Accelerus, including teachers and students, subjects, classes and enrolments.

Log into Accelerus Web as an administrator
Go to the Management menu
Select School Settings and Tools
Under the Tools menu in the left panel, select Xuno Sync
Click the Generate button next to Generate Xuno-Accelerus authentication key. This will bring up a pop-up window
Highlight the authentication key and copy it (Right click > copy)
Press Save

Copy authentication key into Xuno
Log into Xuno as an administrator
Go to Options > General Settings
Scroll down to the Xuno GPS section
Paste the authentication key that was copied in Step 1, into the Private Key
In Accelerus URL, type in the URL of the Accelerus Website - https://live.accelerus.com.au. NB: If both your Accelerus and Xuno websites are hosted on the same service, use an internal http:// address to link the sites
Press Save. Note that the key will disappear once saved

Go back into Accelerus, and back to the Xuno Sync option in the School Settings and Tools window
In the Xuno end point, > Url field, type in the URL of the Xuno website. The URL must include https:// and not include text past the base URL eg do not include /index.php
Click Save
Click Verify. In Status, it will read Verified if the connection is working. Messages such as Failed to connect indicate that there is a problem with the connection

Tick Show Xuno Import/Export settings to activate the import menus in Accelerus.

Only do this step if you wish Teachers to be able to access Accelerus from within Xuno
In Xuno go to Options > General Settings > Xuno GPS
Tick Enable Xuno GPS mode for teachers
Click Save

Once the above steps have been completed, staff will only ever have to log into Xuno to be able to access both Xuno and Accelerus.
