How to Customise the Kiosk Conditions of Entry

The Sign-in Kiosk has an optional feature, where visitors are asked to agree to the Conditions of Entry in the school, as part of the sign in process. 

The article below explains how to customise or hide this Conditions of Entry screen.

When the Conditions of Entry feature is activated, visitors will not be able to sign in without agreeing to it. Staff and students will be able to sign in without being required to agree to the Conditions of Entry.

Pre-requisites

  • Users must have permission to modify all XUNO settings in order to change the Conditions of Entry text or activation status.
  • The school must be using version 10.3 build 1531 or above of XUNO

How to show/hide the Conditions of Entry screen

  1. Log into the XUNO suite
  2. Click Options
  3. Click Kiosk Settings
  4. Under Legal Options, ensure that 'Display conditions of entry acceptance page' is ticked so that the Conditions of Entry screen is shown as a step in the sign-in process and not ticked if you don't want to the Conditions of Entry screen to show for your visitors.
  5. Click Save

How to customise the Conditions of Entry text

  1. Log into the XUNO suite
  2. Click Options
  3. Click Kiosk Settings
  4. In the 'Conditions of entry text', type in the conditions of entry as you wish them to appear on the screen. Note you may press Enter to divide text into Paragraphs.
  5. Click Save
