Adding a room or resource booking

The Room and Resource Booking feature allows staff to book various items for selected periods which other users may then view.

XUNO takes your class information directly from your timetable to automatically display accurate room information. The room and resource booking feature is simple, easy to use and should take no more than a few minutes to set up.

Before you can make a booking, the feature must be configured for your school. Read the article How to set up Room & Resource bookings to learn how to set this feature up.

Booking a room or resource

  1. Click on the School menu and then click on the Book Rooms & Resources menu item under the Timetable & Rooms subheading.
  2. Select the week in which you would like to make your booking using the calendar.
  3. Select the Category of room or resource under which you would like to book.
  4. Click on the empty cell of the day/period in which you would like to make the booking.
  5. In the New booking box, enter a Title for your resource booking, or select the Class you wish to book for in the dropdown list.
  6. Add any Notes you want to add to the booking into the Note field.
  7. Click on the Save button.
  8. If you wish to request a swap for a room or resource that is already booked, click in the applicable day/period cell, click the Request a room swap button, then click OK to confirm.
